Roots in Los Altos Hills
My family and I have lived in Los Altos Hills for more than 20 years.
When my children were younger, our home became a gathering place for school robotics, tinkering, music jams, and poetry cafés — kids from school joined mine, and our refrigerator worked overtime keeping up with a house full of thirsty minds and perpetually hungry teenagers.
Those years taught me something I still believe today: strong communities are built when people open their doors, share their time and talents, and look out for one another.

Family Life
The months spent sheltering in place became a time to reconnect — I made it a priority to call at least one friend a week, especially seniors, just to check in.
I explored cooking, astronomy, photography, and writing during the pandemic, and completed a course in Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language.
I belong to two book clubs. We’ve leaned into themes of resilience, joy, and humor — and I believe in the same spirit of shared learning for our town.
